Cloud service terms

Optional hosted features · limited TestFlight beta

Libratory’s local reader is free and account-optional. These terms explain optional cloud processing operated by Petar Sabev. Contact support@libratory.dev. Apple’s standard app licence also applies. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or Apple’s refund decisions.

Cloud reading is a choice

Use content you have the right to process. Choose an eligible provider and review its data disclosure before allowing it. Your permission does not override a provider’s restrictions. Local reading remains available when you decline cloud use. Generated explanations and translations may contain errors; check important information against the source.

TestFlight purchases and real processing costs

TestFlight purchases are simulated and do not charge you. AI processing still costs real money. Invited beta accounts therefore have a separate funded testing allowance; simulated purchases cannot increase it. The app can show test credits while the funded allowance is exhausted. Contact support with your account reference if that happens.

Where an offer is available, the purchase screen shows its local price, included credits, renewal period and eligibility. Subscription cancellation stops future renewals; previously purchased top-up credit does not expire when a subscription ends. New top-ups may require active Pro and a sufficiently low balance. We do not automatically buy top-ups.

Usage, cancellation and uncertain charges

Cloud work reserves credits before it starts. Never-started work is free. After provider work starts, cancellation or a lost connection may not stop the provider’s processing; verified usage is charged within the original reservation. Unverified usage stays pending. For work accepted under the estimated-charge policy, after 24 hours from provider start the reserved amount may become estimated credit spent, even if usable output did not arrive. Verified lower usage later returns the difference.

An estimate is not a provider-confirmed charge. Other work can continue using remaining available credit and capacity. An explicit retry is a separate task and can incur another charge. We do not automatically resend uncertain paid work. Contact support for incorrect charges or confirmed delivery failures; a credit correction is separate from a cash refund.

Refunds and disputes

For an Apple-billed purchase, request a refund through Apple. Apple determines eligibility. We do not offer an additional discretionary money-back guarantee for correctly delivered use, but mandatory remedies and Apple’s decisions remain unaffected. A refund request alone is not evidence of abuse.

We investigate billing mistakes and reconcile verified refunds, including partial refunds and reversals. An approved refund may remove credit or subscription access attributable to that purchase. We do not impose automatic cash debt or confiscate unrelated valid purchases. Evidence of payment abuse may pause new cloud spending for review; private support is available to challenge mistakes.

Account deletion and service availability

Deleting a Libratory account ends its cloud access, not its Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions through Apple separately. Your local books and reading progress remain. Required financial and security records may remain as explained in the privacy notice. Contact support about unused credit or a purchase completed after deletion.

Cloud availability depends on provider rules, region, age eligibility, account permission, available credit and funded capacity. The limited beta is not an offer of unlimited processing or worldwide access. A restriction should explain what you can do next; report unclear or incorrect restrictions privately.
